The freedom of Corona

The core of Buddhism that it activates, stimulates, pushes as shift in viewpoint from thinking mind to the heart, from becoming in time to being now. Christianity as a religion is a salvation through belief. But belief in Buddism is still the OS of the mind, and is not a shift in viewpoint that transcends the duality of belief. Buddhism is beyond belief.

But if you get to the core of the teaching of Jesus, the Jesus of the Thomas Gospel, you come to this same shift if awareness from belief to being.

But if I say there is a shift from becoming Jesus in time (getting to the Kingdom) to being Jesus now, why, that is heresy in the Christian viewpoint. j

But if Buddhism its core axiom is that you are Buddha Nature always already. Awakening is Being Buddha. But you see, Buddha is not a noun, a person, place or thing. Buddha is an action, a verb.

While in Christianity, Jesus is contained in our grammar as a noun, a person, place or thing. Christianity as a belief religion blocks the shift that Buddhism invites, from becoming in time to being Now.

In my view Buddha Nature and Christ Consciousness are the primary consciousness that has been overlayed by cultural Ego, a secondary consciousness that in our culture has become primary, thus making our primary consciousness (since you cannot have two consciousness at the same time) thrown into the future to be attained as enlightenment. To the Ego consciousness, the primary consciousness is death, so it is thrown into the future.

This creates tension in the conventional consciousness where it has to deny its primary consciousness in order to exist.

Socalled primitive consciousness is Buddha nature because it is in total harmony with the environment. The primitive is always at the right place at the right time. Just as elephants leave the beach before the tsunami arrives, before any evidence, the primitive consciousness and nature are One.

Secondary or Ego consciousness is for tool making, but modern society has made it primary, pushing original consciousness into a sleep. Time is created in order to restore original mind in the future, so one you have primary and secondary consciousness at the same time even though they are split. I can have my original mind in the next moment, with this new product or religion.

Non-dual spiritual practice has the goal of bringing these two minds back as One Mind, and awakening arrives when one realizes that they are always already One mind. Practice brings us to the point where we realize practice itself creates the separation between primary and secondary minds.
