Crack your IT Egg

June 29, 2017 by admin Leave a Comment

Are you fired up and ready to go with another Eckhart Tolle Quote: “No matter what our body’s appearance is on the outer level, beyond the outer form it is an intensely alive energy field. If you are not familiar with “inner body” awareness, class your eyes for a moment and find out if there is life inside your hands. Body awareness not only anchors you in the present moment; it is a doorway out of the prison that is the ego.”

The metaphor for todays’ Metaphor for your Tool Box is the Egg Shell. Crack your Egg Shell. Why is the shell and what is inside. Who were you before your parents were born? Who were or are you before the shell? We view the shell, we know the shell from the outside. I hold the egg in my hand and I wonder what’s inside. Is it rotten? Is it a chicken? Is it a turtle egg? I can’t tell. I am outside of the egg where I experience the egg and its sense qualities, which is the way I know the egg is an egg. But the primary element here is that I AM OUTSIDE of the Egg.

And yet there is an inside of the egg, but I can’t experience it. I can only experience the outside of the egg. (Please stay with the metaphor here. We are not talking about a real egg but a metaphorical egg that is the way to a shift in consciousness from the outside to the inside).

Here Tolle is talking about an outer body and an inner body. Outer body is my. body as an object, as an experience that I’m having. We say: I have a body and it looks like such and such, and I try to make it look better. “The prison of the ego” is seeing your body only as an object, as always being outside of the egg of experience as the universal Person who (like Yahweh) is outside of the world (experience) He creates.

Do you see the connection here between our outside perception of the world as something and Yahweh as the Person who is outside of creation or his own experience. The Question What am I? is answer by coming up with definitions like Russian Nesting Dolls. We are qualities, roles, values, memories, dreams…all things and ideas….

But Who am I? Who is the inside of the egg shell? The view from the outside is Third Person IT….but the inside is not What I am but THAT I am! The inside of the eggs is the awakened I AM as the Knower. When Buddha awoke he said: Throughout Heaven and Earth I alone am the Honored One.” That is the inside of the egg.

Find out if there is life inside the objective shell of your image. You are the First Person…That is Who you Are. This Third Person is a secondary person, one that is created BY the First Person. But then in our culture of ITS the First Person goes to sleep and believes it is just a Third Person, the shell of a Person.

Insight is the first crack in your shell of objective ITS. I remember the first crack of light from the side when I was in my. 20s. “I am not my thoughts.” it was a sudden burst of light that made me hungry for more light. These Single Ideas comes from the Knower that is prior to thought. Thought and language holds our IT world and I as an IT in place. Thought creates me as I-IT. Thought separates me from time as an IT in time. Thought creates an imaginary fixed center or “I” outside of experience, alone and in exile. “Unless a seed falls upon the earth and does not die, it stands alone. If it dies, it bears fruit.”) JC. That says it all. The IT must dies to the Knower, the creative Knower, the source of creativity. You are the source of creativity, the same creative of the cosmos itself. You are the cosmos creating itself as You. “Throughout heaven and earth, I alone am the honored One.” (Buddha)
