What’s the Truth here?

July 18, 2018 by admin Leave a Comment

The Truth is the pattern that holds appearances. To see the Truth you have to make the forms of experience transparent to the pattern. You can’t choose to see the pattern. Seeing the pattern is a revelation, an Insight, an AHAH! We can create the conditions to see the patterns behind appearances when we can rest without the need to know the truth. As long as we think we know the truth, we don’t. Truth is always a discovery, a surprise, often earth shaking, even painful when you are clinging to untruth. That’s why we don’t want the Truth.

It is easier to see the pattern or truth in others than in ourselves. Buddhism is seeing the pattern or ignorance in yourself as yourself.
