I’m happy your dropped in and shared my martini..the Joy of the Martini…but remember, if you hang out with me, I have a metaphorical mind, so the Martini is a metaphor for the Eucharist. That’s why I’m a Martini Priest. Only a priest can offer the sacrifice of the Eucharist, the life in the death of the Eucharist. And that’s what I wanted to point out tonight in the Zen of Gwar….which is the Zen of death. The life in death. In our movies and art we love death. We love zombie movies, horror movies….mysteries..you know murder mysteries..the mystery of death and the repair when it happens to restore order and the normal..which is without death.Â
So death is not normal but we can’t live without it, for without death, any loss of any kind, there is no surprise, and life is a surprise. So there you have it. Without death there is no surprise, and without surprise there is no life. We can’t live with death and we can’t live without.
