The Pink Tsunami is coming and it will change the balance between the great Yin and Yang. These two forces are the forces of creation, a Dynamic Unity whose tension created the energy needed for creation of new form. But unlike the Bible story, Creation is unending. The Cosmos IS Creating, a verb not a noun. We are verbs, creating not things that create. So this dynamic unity is action itself, and action is balanced/not-balance. This is the fundament ambiguity of creation and our consciousness, which is a creating mind, the mind aspect of creation. Balance is always being restored and creating creates new conditions, and a need for balance.
The Pink Tsunami that is going to land on our beaches in Movement is going to wash away the Yang structures that have caused our civilization to lean Yang and diminish Yin. Every since the Enlightenment, through science, which is yang, we have been becoming more and more Yang. Two main two forces of Yin and Yang is centrifugal and centripetal. Yin is including, always expanding towards more and more inclusion. All my children are wonderful, says the Yin Mother. Just the ones who pass the test, says the exclusive Yang Father. Both forces work in balance, but when one gets the upper hand, you get a wobble. The society is out of alignment.
Our society, thanks to our Constitution, allows the people to restore balance. The People is where the tires get aligned and you get rid of the wobble and the car’s pulling to one side or the other. When the people rise up like a tsunami, the society restores balance.
The maps is going to be redrawn to restore balance between the Yin and the Yang, between Republicans (Yang) and Democrats (Yin). I don’t care what you believes, Balance is going to be restored be this is the way the Cosmos works. You either choose to balance, or balance will be shoved down your throats. There is no way to avoid the Cosmos…beause we are not outside of the Cosmos. (that is a Yang perspective). We ARE the Cosmos. That is the all inclusive Yin perspective.
Following the Dharma Trail is a metaphor I really enjoy because it reminds me of Roy Rogers and Dale Evans and the Singing Cowboys…Happy Trails to you…until we meet again….rings in my ears now so many years later. What a great teaching to grow up on. The world is black and white and the bad guys wear black hats and the good guys wear white hats, and the good guys win, and then sing a song.
So now I’m on the Dharma Trail, following the clues of Dharma (or if you are religious, following the M&Ms that God left in my path). Following the Dharma Trail is following the scent of God, the aroma of bliss. My nose has been cleansed to sniff like a blood hound. Through personal suffering, trial and error, the nose gets cleansed so it can sniff the faint tracks of the Beloved who lures me to transcend myself. My Beloved teases me to leap beyond the Known. By Beloved coaches me to leave my safe havens. That is the Dharma Trail.
The Dharma Trail is not in this place or that. Your life is the Dharma Trail, and it’s a Happy Trail. If it weren’t happy, why follow it. The Dharma Trail as you follow it increases happiness. Why follow it if it didn’t it.
So the Dharma Trail is a Happy Trail…you go from suffering to happiness. But you can’t follow this trail just to become happy. You have to follow it because you must, because you have no choice.
