We create Catch 22 so that we can make them transparent, see the game, and laugh. Oh…that was a great game. But now that I see the ending, lets create another game, a surprise, one that surprises me. I’ll go to sleep and believe the game is real, then when I get frustrated because I can’t win, I wake up and laugh. HAH! what a great game. I was really in a trance there for awhile, I was really caught by the semblance of the real by this game, but now I SEE…HAH! What a great game.
When you see the game; when you see the illusion, when you see the magic trick…you laugh. When you see through the shadow, you laugh. The Catch 22 is a self created Sting.
Catch 22 is two commandments that must be obeyed but they cancel each other out, so you can’t win no matter what you do. Catch 22 is Absurd. When we see the absurdity, when we see the madness, we laugh. Seeing is our original unity. Seeing, Awareness is whole, is prior to the split of the One into the Catch 22.
Catch 22 is the vehicle for evolution of consciousness. When we reach the end of the game, we either destroy ourselves or create a new self. We either destroy our world or create a new world that transcends but includes the polarity of the Catch 22.
Catch 22 shows us the limitation of duality.
So I’m watching a stand off in Seattle….Media is the catalyst for these confrontations. We what so we can be surprise, we watch for the unexpected. OH…great tear gas. This is better than the boring local news about crimes that have already happened. This is LIVE.
We like to Watch. These are the conditions of our times. Media is the field upon which the Catch 22 plays out. Everyone is there to catch a shot that will put them on Youtube. America is now a population entranced by watching itself through the medium of the smart phone. I’m reminded of the high school hall when a fight starts. The student fun with glee and create a circle that keeps the authorities from breaking up the entertainment, their relief from the boredom of our institutional life.
