Restore your original finish

September 16, 2017 by admin Leave a Comment

Household jobs and duties can become your spiritual practice. Power wash the deck and restore it to you original finish; restore you mind to its original finish. Our mind is like walnut in a Victorian house, and culture has painted it. We think all the woodwork in the world is painted. We have no idea that our original fishes is beautiful nature walnut. We think in colors of the paint cultures has layered over us.

Spiritual practice begins when you suspect there is something original and natural under the paint. Spiritual practice moves according the level of our intention to get down to the finish. The IDEA that there is original walnut under the pain can come suddenly. We might be curious to test out that idea and scrap the paint revelation the prestige wood beneath. Then the IDEA is empowered and it creates the energy we need to scrape all the wood work. Without that IDEA we would not have the energy to do it. If someone else had the idea and told you to scrap the woodwork you would not do it for free. You would want to get paid. But If the IDEA is yours, and the wood was your original nature, then nothing could stop you. This is what it takes to awaken to your original nature.

If you want to know what you original nature looks like, watch Zorba the Greek.
