Remembering my spiritual masters.

September 2, 2017 by admin Leave a Comment

Here in Southside Virginia, a small conservative town called Blackstone, I feel so very far away from my spiritual path, my gurus and Hindu and Buddhist path, that is so foreign to my community, which is solid Americana. So I took this. FB occasion to share my under the grid connections that brought me here to this land as if I were from another country, another culture as strange here as if I were from Mars. In my spiritual heart I am like an alien here. While I speak the language of the people here, there is a language of the spiritual journeyer that I can’t speak here, but rarely with a few friends who find my interior world of value.

It is strange and quite wonderful, I have found, that I can live in two worlds, the exterior world of Blackstone where I am just another person with an odd history and an inexplicable need to be different. So I have two lives, really. The exterior life which I’m quite happy with, and my interior life which I share with friends who knock. If someone doesn’t knock and ask to enter, if they do enter they won’t see anything there. If your interior world is not awakening, you will not see or have any interest in my interior world….But listen to this. It’s important.

My interior world is not a world of gurus and philosophies, and paths of Truth etc. My interior world is empty. If you come into my interior world you will just walk into an empty room. We will sit down and we will create a world together. The interior is the unexplored land, like the interior of Africa that I was fascinated with as a boy. We explore OUR interiors together. Your interior and my interior is BLANK. Sit down with me and we will explore it together, discovering the treasures of insight waiting there to be activated.

So on the outside I’m just another one of Blackstone eccentrics. But for a few people I’m a guide into the interior which neither one of us has mapped. That’s the beauty of it.

Your interior has to be mapped by your as your discover it, but a guide is handy. But the guide does not show you his interior. No…you discover the interior together, fresh, because discovery means that your interior has never existed before. You create it as you discover it. We create Insight that expands our interior knowledge.

Truth is a discovery. Truth is not known. And your truth has to be discovered. You have to create your truth because your truth does not exist until you create it. That is the mystery that alludes us. You and I con’t really exist until we create ourselves. When we don’t create ourselves, we are just clone, just the known repeating itself, going in circles believe the circle is a straight line. This is the double-bind I keep talking about. The Wheel of Samsara Buddha talks about.

Thanks to the gin and my gurus, this Idea in on fire right now, as I write it. A single idea can transform your life, but you have to let go of all the old ideas before it can be activated or created. Nothing exists before this moment. Get in alignment with Now and you will begin to create this moment, fresh, and you will see it as if for the first time.

I am empty of spiritual paths and gurus; the eye of my Ego is finally empty and clear. Without the eye the hurricane dissipates. Whats is left is the ground of reality.
