Name your hurricane

August 27, 2017 by admin Leave a Comment

Name your own Hurricane. Je Suis Harvey. The hurricane is a metaphor for your anger, your wrath, your displeasure with the world for going against you will, your expectations. The Evangelical who say Harvey is Gods anger with Texas or America for being disobedient are not far off, but the center is misplaced. God is not the center of the angry hurricane, You are the center of the angry hurricane. Can you see the shift in paradigms here?

God dwells within you as You, said my old guru. When Harvey is a metaphor for you, when your anger is a hurricane building on the warm waters of ignorance, your Eye, your indwelling God is trapped in the karmic force of a pattern. You see the shift here? This is the shift of liberation from karma, from your history, from the repeating patterns of your fits of anger or depression (which is anger turned inward).

Both you and the Evangelicals are using Harvey as a metaphor…but it is God who is misplaced. God when out there in the sky angry because his humans are bad children, we are going to be punished.

But when we put God in the center of us as our Eye, then everything shifts, everything is turned inside out or outside in. Instead of being a victim of God’s anger, spanked for no. reason we can think of, we are in the driving seat. We are at the wheel, and we can see the cause of our misery and the force of the hurricane, not in Texas but in our own life.

Our ignorance sees the real world as only Out There as form. Our wisdom, our Eye in the center sees the world from the center of you as you. You are the world and the world is you. This is the center of the storm that is you, this karmic pattern that keeps repeating itself like the late summer hurricanes.

The world is out there, but what we are missing is the most important world, and that is you as the center of the world, the eye of the hurricane that is holding your Eye, your Soul hostage. Take back. your soul, you Eye of God. And you can do this when you see and use the external world as metaphor.

Je Suis Harvey. So when your Harvey rises and you feel the anger brewing, the irritation with the world, your spouse, rising…say WAIT…What’s the Ground Here? I don’t know. I want to know. This changes everything. You rising hurricane Harvey is now passing over the ground of reality, over the truth, and it loses strength. It only gains strength passing over the ground of ignorance that believes that only the external world of object, outside of you is real…NO…the real you is the center of the world that is you. That is the Eye of You.

So pause, ask what the Truth is, and you will suddenly see the pattern of Harvey, of you held hostage by your ignorance of the misplaced God. God is both outside and inside (the same God) but when he is only outside in form or thought, then we miss the mark and create the condiment for returning hurricanes.

Name your hurricane. When you name something, that name gives you power over it. When your karmic hurricane returns, you can say: Oh, here’s Harvey. You are just my bunny rabbit. (Jimmy Stewart in the movie Harvey)
