Yesterday was perfect timing. What is “timing.” We all want it, and if we have it, it doesn’t last, and you can’t make it happen. Its the sense of being in sync with yourself and the world, in fact, its the felt sense of being at one with the world. You are the world and the world is you, when you have timing. In sports it’s being “in the zone.” George Castanza in Seinfeld was always hoping for it and losing it the moment he thought he had it. In the movies it’s usually portrayed when people fall in love. Dancing in the Rain. I this an abnormal state? Or normal, and our normal state is abnormal?
Societies has timing when they unite against a common enemy. Religions have timing when they surrender to a common center, or God in the form of an idol. When we lose out center, we lose out timing, our confidence, efficiency and power. When leaders have timing they have charisma. The religious call it Grace. The yogis call it Shakti. The Buddhists call it Dharma. Jesus calls it the Kingdom of Heaven that is among you but you can’t see it.
Timing is felt, like when the wind touches your sails after a drought, or when the fetus first kicks, or when you know you are in love. Timing is being in love with the universe, for you feel that in that moment the universe is in love with you. God says I See You.
Is it possible to have timing and love in your life all the time?
