Drop that Cross. Right now!

Oh this was funny. I got caught on camera not realizing that the camera was on. A hot camera! So we are talking about Metaphorical Seeing and the Resurrection. They are the same. Awakening is seeing directly through and through that you are the cause of your suffering, of. your mental anxiety, and all negativity. This Seeing has no gap between it and action. Seeing and Action are one when you see metaphorically. The metaphor in this case was the man reenacting Jesus carrying the cross through Blackstone yesterday.

Historical thinking, which is our normal way of thinking, references everything to the known, and in this case the known that gives meaning to this Jesus walk is history, the historical event. That is the known. Otherwise, if we had no historical memory we would think this guy was absolutely crazy. It would be like the obelisk in Space Odyssey: 2001. No reference to the known. Complete mystery.

So Metaphorical Seeing makes the known transparent to the transcendent. And what is the transcendent? YOU. When I see the man with the cross, and I suddenly and directly see that this man is ME, that I am carrying this cross or burden that is killing me, when I see that I am choosing to do it, why…I choose to not do it. BAM! That choice to not do it is not a choice from the mind that weighs choice to see which choice is the better. When you hand is on a hot plate, you do not weigh whether you should take it off.

The Metaphorical Eye opens reality so that its reference is YOU. Reality becomes a mirror in which you can see what you thinking mind does not see. Jesus says hanging from the Cross: Forgive them for they don’t know what they are doing.” BAM! He is saying that we don’t know that we are crucifying ourselves on daily nail at a time. Our world is a crucifixion of self imposed suffering. We don’t have to suffer…if we see through the Metaphorical Eye of the Christ. The Resurrection is the EYE which enables you to see yourself nailing yourself to the cross. Stop That!

How do we open the Metaphorical Eye? We have to go into the tomb between Good Friday and Easter Day, this dark night of the soul and the Moon. What do we do there? Well, first we have to willingly go there. In The Avatar and the Voyage to Pandora Jake Sully goes there when he was between worlds and didn’t know whether the Sky People reality or the Pandora world was real. It’s that moment when you wake and don’e know for a moment whether the dream is real or the wake world is real. You don’t know. That is the dark night. You don’t know what to do. So you do nothing but be awake and aware and alert. This is Not Knowing, but you don’t despair because you don’t know.

Our dilemma is that we have to know. We have to be in control. We have to have a choice. But what happens when the sun and moon are balanced on opposite horizons? What happens in the dark space between death and life, between the crucifixion and the resurrection? That is where we have to go. And if we can hold…hold…just be awake and not resisting..the newborn you Kicks in the tomb and it becomes a womb, and you are reborn with an insight, a revelation, a solution, are reformation that you never imagined was possible.

44. views. Come on this is a fantastic Easter revelation that can open your Easter egg and get some chocolate. All this Easter stuff now is about selling sweets. I got a chocolate rabbit. A friend said she saw a chocolate Easter Squirrel. Easter has become a Chocolate Plastic ritual. Just turn chocolate into something Easter and people will buy it for a taste of the Resurrection. Jesus on the tongue.

Their are two references here: one to the Biblical History and the serious remembrance of all that suffering and death. And the other is to chocolate and kids finding Easter eggs, and rabbits, which is a reference to the pleasure of the present moment. But both fingers miss the mark. Both references to past or present sensory pleasures divert us from the real meaning of Easter…which is rebirth. But the problem is that you can’t choose rebirth. You can’t make it happen. You can’t find a method or plan for rebirth. It seems to be spontaneous, like falling in love.
