We all remember our grammar teacher. I always though English teachers and ministers were of the same cloth: looking for the sin. So I’m interesting in getting beyond sin, living beyond the red mark. Not that we don’t need red marks to improve our life, but how can I be internally free from fear of the red mark or sin. What will people think….did I make a grammatical error. Will people think I’m ignorant? What will people think about me, is the primary concern of the thinker and its self image.
One of the many benefits from my Facebook live talks is that I’m completely fearless of what you think of me. I don’t have any stage frights, as you can see. Here Live I’m liberated to speak my Word as it chooses to speak. But I trust my Word. That is the key. I trust my Word to not make a fool of myself. And if I make an error, in just incorporate it into my talk. Sometimes I’m guided by my error, so let me make “grammatical” mistake or not, it doesn’t matter. My Word continues to speak.
This talk is about language which is the grammatical structure that makes our language work. Our language is a language of Nouns. Things are in the saddle and ride our language, and our language is our thinking, and our thinking is the Thinker of my sense of self. We are so indoctrinated by language and thinking that we believe reality fits our language. But language is an abstraction of reality, a fake reality. You know, Fake News.
Our True Self is not language, not thinking, not contained by grammar and subject to error. When we see that patterns of our thinking, which is our self in action, we transcend language and are free from fear.
