Be empty my Friends

April 7, 2018 by admin Leave a Comment

We are digging deeper into Emptiness. If you go all the way through and through do you come to fullness. I remember way back the cartoons were always showing someone digging down through the earth and coming out in china. Lots of movies are about digging down, shrinking…A friend was talking about the 50s movie, The Incredible Shrinking Man. If you go far enough into your own religion, you come out at the universal Truth. If you follow your spoke on the wheel to the end, to its source, you come to the Hub or the Navel of the World. But this Navel, if it is the fountain and source of the Cosmos must be empty. If it had a form, it could not be the Source of all form.

So the Source of all Form, which call the Creator must be empty. There is not a single word that can describe that which has no description. Even the ancient Hebrews refused to name God because God was empty. To them God was the Word, and the Word is empty. Have seen a Word going around? No. We give the words form, and then it is not empty. The word has a meaning, a form. But the Original Word…is empty. In India that word is OM. And OM is the sound made in the heart that is not made by two things striking each other, which is the cause of sound we hear. Om is one hand clapping, not two.

So this OM is also empty. No matter what spoke we take, if we follow it to its source we come up empty. And when we dig deep enough into ourselves, we find there that we are also empty, but in a full sort of way.
