If you want to activate this Practice of Insight you have to have a practice. Some art, some hoppy, some sport, something where you can practice letting go of the expectation for reward or fear of failure, which is negativity. Action rising out of desire, attraction or aversion, is not creative, and insight is creative ideas that are not thinking.
Take this writing I’m doing here. Writing is my meditation, my Tolle practice which I’ve been doing everyday since. 2005, starting on a blog, moving to Facebook pages. It is here I practice surrender. You practice noticing when your thought of future, whether you are going to be liked or shamed, and you let it go. Surrender to your body is not easy because the mind is conditioned to be in control, like the male is socially conditioned in the past to be in control of the female. See how that has changed? It takes practice.
To let your body be free, is to let your body wisdom free, and body wisdom is Insight.
Remember Mr. ED, the TV show. There’s your metaphor for insight. Mr. Ed is a metaphor for Body Wisdom, the Insight that comes from your surrendered mind. When Insight rises, then you mind has something to work with. Without insight, you mind just goes in circles trying to stir it up.
