You ARE seeing

May 19, 2018 by admin Leave a Comment

The decision to make the present moment into your friend is the end of the ego. The ego can never be in alignment with the present moment, which is to say, aligned with life, since its very nature compels it to ignore, resist, or devalue the Now.” Eckhart Tolle (from The Power of Now)
______________________

Who is the decider to make the present moment its friend? Is choice a decision? Choice requires an either/or to choose from. When decision is like a choice, you can’t choose to make the present moment into your friend because there is no alternator to the present moment. There is no either/or; there is no PM and NOT PM, so you can’t choose between them, making a decision for the PM because it is the better of the two. The Present Moment has no second alternative moment.

Seeing THAT makes the present moment or the world your friend. There is no choice in SEEING. Seeing is not a choice because there no Seeing and Not Seeing from which to choose. Once can’t choose to See. You already ARE Seeing. You can’t choose what you already always are.

Dance on the crashed balloon.

May 17, 2018 by admin Leave a Comment

“The modalities of awakened doing are acceptance, enjoyment, and enthusiasm. Each one represents a certain vibrational frequency of consciousness. You need to be vigilant to make sure that one of them operates whenever you are engaged in doing anything at all—from the most simple task to the most complex.” Ekchart Tolle (from The Power of Now)
_______________

The word not underlined here is “awakened doing” because I just had an episode where I was in the modality of “acceptance, enjoyment, and enthusiasm” yet I was caught in a Ground Hog Day illusion. This was unawakened doing. When I asked What is the Truth here? The hot air balloon collapsed.

And then I experienced an even greater “acceptance, enjoyment, and enthusiasm” But now the acceptance was that I had once again blown up a balloon and launched myself towards the horizon of imagined content. While these karmic balloons have flown for months even years in the past, this one came down in just one day. When the sun set the balloon was deflated on the ground and I was dancing on it with my intellectual mind. (the one in the white suite).

Are we Schizophrenic?

May 14, 2018 by admin Leave a Comment

“Most people are so distracted by their thoughts, so identified with the voices in their heads, they can no longer feel the aliveness within them. To be unable to feel the life that animates the physical body, the very life that you are, is the greatest deprivation that can happen to you.” Eckhart Tolle (from The Power of Now)

So we are all suffering from a mild to sever Schizophrenia. The person plugged into his iPhone music is a metaphor for minds wired to its thought. As infants we are given these wireless mind plugs, and according to our conditioning, we are given stations to listen to. We become stressed when the signal isn’t strong. We become psychic when all we can get is static on this collective mind. Here we listen to our story over and over again.

I wrap myself in thought

May 12, 2018 by admin Leave a Comment

“If you are content with being nobody in particular, content not to and out, you align yourself with the power of the universe. What looks like weakness to the ego is in fact the only true strength. This spiritual truth is diametrically opposed to the values of our contemporary culture and the way it conditions people to behave.” Eckhart Tolle (from The Power of Now)
______________________

All my thoughts have the aim of making me into a special somebody, a Thinker. When I think and believe in my thoughts, I am that thought. Culture is a gravity field that makes this Thinker the center of the world, the axis of meaning.

But thought is empty, smoke, a dream. In order to avoid this “nobody” I wrap myself in thought and time. I wrap myself in the known in order to avoid my own unknown, my nameless self.

Evolve or die

May 8, 2018 by admin Leave a Comment

“The next step in human evolution is not inevitable, but for the first time in the history of our planet, it can be a conscious choice. Who is making that choice? You are. And who are you? Consciousness that has become conscious of itself.” Eckhart Tolle (from The Power of Now)

________________

Evolution occurs when the species and the environment restore balance. Environments change, and species as a part of the whole change with the whole in order to maintain balance between the parts and the whole. Mankind is a species and the earth is its environment. Man’s evolution is no longer on the physical plain. We don’t need 12 toes. Evolution for man is in consciousness. Everything evolves; everything changes; everything is inter-being.

In the past man’s tribes evolved when the local environment changed. Tribes explored, took over new territory, mixed with other tribes and evolved into inhabiting new world. Man creates worlds and then lives in them. Change forces evolution and the birth of new worlds. Is that no happening now?

For the first time man as a species is faced with a total change in environment. He must evolve of go extinct. The consciousness or world view that created the world we now inhabit cannot create the new world we must create. The old way must go in order for the new way to be born.
