Does reality have a Wall Eye?

June 12, 2018 by admin Leave a Comment

“Thinking isolates a situation or event and calls it good or bad, as if it had a separate existence. Through excessive reliance on thinking, reality becomes fragmented. This fragmentation is an illusion, but seems very real while you are trapped in it.” Eckhart Tolle (from The Power of Now)
____________________

Is reality good or bad? Every situation is good for one person, bad for another. Thinking it good or bad creates reality as a split screen, and we must choose one screen, be think, by getting rid of the other screen. Reality wants and must have only ONE screen because reality is ONE. But thinking creates a Wall Eye that sees reality as Two, one better than the other, so the Eye has a fight to restore the One Eye…but they can’t because the Wall Eyes belong to the same mind. To remove one eye you put both eyes out!

Be the whole cup

June 1, 2018 by admin Leave a Comment

“Whatever you learn through psychoanalysis or self-observation is about you. It is not you. It is content, not essence. Going b beyond ego is stepping out of content.” Eckhart Tolle (from The Power of Now)
_____________________

What you observe as something— thoughts, emotions, feeling, concepts, psychological theories—is the separation of you The One) into two. Ego means Two, the One that is two. Ego is a subject/object operating system of the mind that is great for survival and making tools but not so great in answering the question: Who am I?

Ego ask what an object is and what it’s good for. But Ego can’t ask what it is as the One. Ego seeking continually divides it subject into a division of itself. Like Zeno’s Arrow, it never gets to the target because it keeps divided itself. The cup cannot know itself by analyzing the contents of the cup. YOU are whole, the ONE without a second. The cup both inside and outside as one.

I and the Father are One

May 26, 2018 by admin Leave a Comment

“There is no such thing as “my life,” and I don’t HAVE a life. I AM life. I and life are one. It cannot be otherwise. So how could I lose my life? How could I lose something that I don’t have in the first place? How could I lose something that I AM? It is impossible.” Eckhart Tolle (from The Power of Now)

This is another way of expressing the idea of Atonement. When Jesus says, I and the Father are One, he is saying that I and the Source are One, or I and Life are One…atonement. This is a realization on the Hero’s Journey.

We are all in our personal journeys seeing atonement with the father or mother, coming to some resolution of the polarity. Maturity is when the son becomes a father, or a daughter becomes a mother. Spiritual maturity is when you become Life, when there is no more rub between you and the world, which is your life.

J. Krishnamurtiy always said : You are the world and the world is you. That is atonement. Avatar was about atonement.

The Copernican Shake Up

May 25, 2018 by admin Leave a Comment

“If you can be absolutely comfortable with not knowing who you are are, then what’s left is who you are—the Being behind the human, a field of pure potentiality rather than something that is already defined. Give up defining yourself—to yourself and others. You won’t die. You will come to life.” Eckhart Tolle (from The Power of Now)

This quote as a lot packed into it, so lets focus on “a field of pure potentiality rather than something that is already defined.”

This is a Copernican Revolution because it ends out Newtonian commons sense view of the universe as being made of things bumping into each other. A field of potentiality is Quantum Physics. Is the electron a particle (a thing that is located in space/time) or is it a wave or a field of energy? According to quantum, whether something is a noun or a verb is determined by the instruments you choose to measure it. It is potential both. But his is not logical. So when it comes to understanding who you are, you have to drop logic and logic’s choice.

Are you a thing defined, or a potential undefined? Logic says you have to be one or the other, so choose. But who is choosing? Only a thing can choose either this or that; which is the better for me?

Not knowing releases your potential. So not knowing is dropping the need to choose, being OK with not knowing, yet at the same time wanting to know the truth. The undefined is the curious mind. The potential mind is a questioning mind. Ask and you shall receive.

Hanging from Time

May 20, 2018 by admin Leave a Comment

“There are three ways in which the ego will treat the present moment: as a means to an end, as an obstacle, or as an enemy.” Eckhart Tolle (from The Power of Now)
_________________

The Ego is trapped in time. It wears Time Glasses so everything appears in time, as a means to the future. Thinking is time. Movement is time. Thinking is movement.

But the Present Moment as the eternal Now is not moving, is not thinking, and needs no means to an end because in the Now the means and end are One. You are the Undivided. You are before time. But there is no path to You.
