Trump: an exchange of power

August 2, 2018 by admin Leave a Comment

Ok, friends, watch this video. It’s a good insight, one I’ve not seen on media analysis in such a simple everyday mind language. Trump cannot be totally understood unless we see him as a relationship of power with his base. Trump is Trump because of his relationship with his environment, and his environment is his base, his devoted people. Trump as their center receives power from them, psychic energy, and Trump gives it back to them, like when you stick a mic in an amplifier. A feed back loop of expanding energy is created.

Trump finds his center and power in his people, and they find their center and power in Trump. The warm water of the Media feeds this hurricane. The irony is that the more absurd Trump gets, the stronger his people believe in him. Absurdity is a test of their faith. I believe in Trump, and the more outrageous he gets the more I believe in him. I my belief is verified because it is illogical. This is a religious principle. Trump is a secular spiritual phenomena.

Trump is a secular religious cult that must expand in order to stay in the air. And the air that expands the Trump balloon is conflict with those forces that try to get his balloon back on the ground. The more ropes you put on his balloon, the more hot air he and his people pump into the balloon. The balloon is created and generated by the conflict with established reality and customs.

Nothing stands alone. Everything is interrelated. Everything is part of a larger whole. Unless you understand the part’s relationship to the whole, you can’t understand the part. You go in your grandmother’s attic and pick up some tool. You have no idea what it is and what it does because your grandmother’s kitchen no longer exists. Trump’s kitchen is his people, his devotees who believe in him unconditionally. Trump has never had unconditioned love before. He never got it from his father, so he has been searching for it his whole life, and now he has found it in His People. And his people have been looking for unconditional love their whole lives, and now they have found it in Trump. “He loves me because I’m deplorable. He loves my red neck. Trump is kind of red also. Trump is my color.”

Instead of seeking Certainty, which is what science does now, we need to seek Understanding. There is no way to know what Trump is with clear and distinct ideas, because this is a search to understand Trump as an object, as something. Trump is not something. Trump is a relationship with an unknown unreachable Center. Trump is a leader in search of a people to lead, a Moses Archetype. Trump was in search for poeple who wanted to be led, to be delivered to the Promised Land. He found these people in the disposed White Male who had lost his job and his position of power in society, not for what he has done but for his nature. The white male who had lost his position because of social changes and the rise of women and blacks and minorities in his White Male Land where he was once king, but not just once a year but all year.

When social customs stopped supporting the thrown of the white male at home, you have Dagwood and the shift from Patriarchy to Matriarchy. The wife and mother is the center of the home, and father, having become just a cog in the machine in the industrial world, was also a cog in the family machine when he came home. The center was lost. The male was exiled to the rim of life, and the female became the center, the grounded center that holds the family together while the male goes flying off the merry-go-round to find women who will worship him…until he gets married again, and then he is once again on the rim.

A man is what is does. His power is in what he does, not in his nature like a woman. But when society takes away the power of a man and makes him just a meaningless part in a vast impersonal machine, with no craft, with no integrity, with no complete product to make, his power is stolen…..and he may find refuge in Trump. “Hey, Trumps my man. He dominates women. He’s the man.”

The relationship that exchanges power is like: subject/objective TO objective/subjective. Let me explain. The Subjective is ME, the objective is YOU as IT. I as subject give my power to you as IT; you (the IT) as a subject give me (your IT) back my power. This is a bargained relationship, a contract. I invest in you to fix me, and you invest the power I give you back to me in return—the Art of the Deal. Without each other we have no power. The Devils Bargain.

The power is an illusion b because it is dependent upon the Other. It is not your power. When the Other goes, leaves, dies, or changes, you are dead to your power. You then have a great investment in keeping the bargain going, even when it gets totally insane.
