Eckhart Tolle quote for the day: “Through allowing, you become what you are: vast, spacious. You become whole. You are not a fragment anymore, which is how the ego perceives itself. Your true nature emerges, which is one with the nature of. God.”
Okay, this is going to be a good show. We have lots of Good News. (I feel like Rachael Maddow). What is the Sword of Mystery? In Zen and Martial arts it is when Intention and Spontaneity become one. It is a Force like in Star Wars, and the Light Sabre is the metaphor for the Sword of Mystery that flashes with lightening speed, like a Marx Brothers comedy routine. There is not a hairbreadth interval between one movement and another.
The mind does not know where it is. It is empty of goal, plan, and time. The mind is empty of consciousness. Intention that is spontaneous is transcendent of even experience.
Yesterday we put Balancing on a Bike in our Metaphor Toolbox. When the Sword of Mystery flashes, you are in balance with the universe, like a surfer on a wave, a biker on a mountain bike. That upon which you balance is transcendent of the moment, upstream of the moment. You balance on the Now as the Now. Balance means being one with. Balance is at ground zero…for the universe always comes to sum zero. You are one with the Nature of God….Hey, is God spontaneous? Does the universe operate on a preconceived plan? Or does the. Universe create itself on the cusp of its own wave, and creating balance and unity as balance and unity is destroyed. Is God separate from the universe? The ultimate outsider….like Trump?
When you are the Son of God, “your true nature which is one with the nature of God.” (Tolle) you have fallen into intentional spontaneity, and in the zone, there is no ego, no I thinking how great I am. You are empty, the mind is empty and there is only pure action that is knowing/being. This teaching is transcendent of intellect, transcendent of consciousness and experience, transcendent of language.
When you lift your arm, that lifting is transcendent of your consciousness. Can you describe how you life the arm? You just do it.
