Modern Reality is a chess game that seems to never end. Neither side of the Mirror/mirror duality board can win since both sides are reflections of the other, the One that has been divided into Two and forgotten that it is playing a game. The Chess Game of Reality happens when the players have forgotten its a game, and they are close to pulling out a gun and shooting the other player in order to win and restore unity to the world, the One without a second. You just shoot the other and there will be no Second. You kill the Second. BAM…that’s the game we are playing now, and this is madness.
Madness, a mad mad world is a world in which the insane believe their insanity is real. They forget they have created their mad world. This is why when something really unexpected happens, something outside our assumptions of what the. board reality is, we can’t believe it is real. “This can’t be happening!”
Reality has a way of breaking up our trance that our game board is real. Today reality is full attack mode on our trance of the Chess Board reality where every single idea that could work is immediately split into two mirror reflections, each side checking the other side, so the teeter totter continues and the game is never over.
So lets look at why we love playing this game. What need does the game satisfy, perhaps an unconscious but real need? Ask the question: what is the need of my separate sense of a unique self, the One without a second. I must be a unique special One, so how can I achieve that?
Okay, I take my clue from my arrested development. If you are going to creates yourself as the Unique One, the rebel, then you are going to have to disagree with whatever idea comes up that eliminates the divisions that you create in order to be the One that has no second. The New Idea, the Truth is going to be perceived as the Second, and it has to be removed because if you surrender to it and agree with and accept it, then…then you are no longer the rebel against the One. The Son rebels against the Father (the One)
In order to maintain our modern sense of separation as an ego, a thing unto itself, we have to have an automatic operating system that creates division out of every One Idea that rises. I keep creating myself as the One who resists, no matter what the Idea is, even if it solves my economic distress.
