This talk is a shift in the way we understand and practice the Christian communion; we normally understand it from the view of time, a remembrance of a past event and Jesus. But the mystical view collapses time into the joyous deliverance from time and the pain of history, of our repetitious karma. History is a dream from which we year to awaken. The communion when just a ritual is really just part of the dream.
But when there is a mystical shift in Mass, it truly IS the Last Supper in time. Jesus was very ironic here. He really pranked us. He made us think that the Last Supper was his last supper and the the bread and the wine were symbols of him, something to remember him by in time.
Well, when Jesus said this IS my body and this IS my blood, he could have been picking up anything to point to the timeless message here. He could have picket up a pork chop and a glass of tea and said this is my body and this is my blood…or this IS me. From the timeless Now, there is no differentiating mind that separates reality into subject and object, which is space time.
Now Jesus it speaking as the Timeless Christ who says I and the Father (world) are One. Or as J. Krishnamurti says: The observer and the observed are One. You are the world and the world is you…is the same thing as saying I and the Father are ONE.
LET THERE BE ONE is the imperative of the. cosmos and life. Everything evolves to the One, to this dynamic Unity. The movement of life is to the One, is to create the One as an ongoing creation. Now is always the One that has no second. There is no second Now.
From this view, from this shift of paradigms, everything is Now, and everything is the ONE now. Everything is Christ, Everything is God. Where can I go that. God or the One is not?
